Causes of Nail Fungus –

The contact of your skin with the fungus is the root cause of this condition. There are many ways through which you can get infected. The toe nail fungus loves the dark and the damp areas and they strive there and body has plenty of these kinds of areas like the crevices of the finger and toe nails. The fungus fits in there when there is moisture.

Vinegar works well for treating this fungal infection. Take Luke warm water and apple vinegar in the 50:50 proportions and apply it on the infected area. Soak for approximately 20 minutes twice a day. Repeat it daily till you see the symptoms disappearing.

Tea Tree Oil is really useful for this fungus. This is very powerful oil and it works for the fungal infection treatment. Apply this common antiseptic oil twice over the infected area daily at least twice.

Apply alcohol on the affected area daily for 2 – 3 times.

Applying mouth wash is also good for this condition. You can sue Listerine – soak the affected area daily for 20 minutes.

Avoid sharing the nail clippers, sandals etc. with others for avoiding the fungal contamination.
