The first thing you want to do is to thin out the nail as much as possible. The secret is this. The nail is made up of many layers. Nothing will cure nail fungus if it can't get to the fungus. In order for the topical to reach the nail bed, you have to ensure that the topical solution can reach the fungus. Unlike Zetaclear, Fungisil has a nail softening agent in the formulae that helps the product to penetrate though the nail layers. But i still recommended nail thinning to help things along.
- Start by taking a nice bath or soak your nails for at least 20min in warm water to soften them. Taking a 15min shower should suffice, just as long as the nail is nice and soft.
- Trim the length of the nail as much as possible with a pair of scissors. Trim back irregular edges, trim cuticles without drawing blood. Shape and trim/thin nail as much as possible.
- Get a nail file, and start filing down the thickness of the nail. The idea is too get the nail as thin as possible and there is a reason for this. Even if your nail is not thick, thin as much as possible.
- Apply Fungisil as directed on the label. The idea of thinning the nail is to ensure that the topical solution penetrates though the nail layers to the root cause. If your nail is to thick, the treatment won’t be as effective because nothing can get too the fungus.
- Ladies, do not wear nail polish until your condition clears. Fungisil cannot penetrate nail polish.
DO'S
Keep the nail thin over the course of your entire treatment. Check the nail thickness weekly. Keep it as thin and filed down as much as possible. The thinner the better. If fungus is on the feet, try to wear open toed shoes. If you need to wear socks, wear 100% cotton only. Use of an anti-fungal powder in shoes is highly recommended.
DONT'S
Don't skip applications. Read the label for the recommended application. Don't quit!! The nail grows VERY SLOWLY! It will take time to see results. If you quit you're back at square one. Use all the bottles purchased. E.G. if you purchased 6 bottles use all 6 bottles.

 I don't think you can buy Fungisil from a pharmacy. I purchased mine directly from their web site. I purchased a 5-month supply, (buy 3 bottles get 2 free) which is also what i recommend to save money and to ensure that your fungus is completely cured.
